Africa-Press – Tanzania. A Saudi Arabian journalist gifted an expensive watch to Brazilian defender Fabinho after his impressive Al-Ittihad debut on Monday.
Ibrahim Al-Faryan published a video on X, formerly Twitter, showing him giving the Rolex brand watch to the 29-year-old.
Fabinho completed a £40 million ($51.3 million) move from the Reds last month. His start with the Saudi club was impressive as Al-Ittihad beat Al-Raed 3-0 in the Saudi Pro League.
He is part of a growing contingent of players joining the Saudi league. Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Riyad Mahrez, Roberto Firmino, and more have signed for Pro League teams in recent weeks.
