Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE Tanzanian Embassy in Malawi has been awarded the International Exhibitors Award, in recognition of its outstanding contribution to the international trade fair.
The Embassy of Tanzania actively participated in the official opening of the 35th International Trade Fair currently taking place in Blantyre, Malawi.
The Embassy’s participation in the fair continues to strengthen diplomatic and economic relations between Tanzania and Malawi, while also promoting investment opportunities, trade, and tourism attractions available in Tanzania.
The event was officially opened by the President of Malawi, Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, and was also attended by the country’s Vice President and various government officials.
During his tour of the exhibition booths, President Chakwera visited the Tanzanian Embassy pavilion as well as the pavilion of the Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA).
At the Tanzanian pavilion, President Chakwera received a warm welcome and was presented with special gifts from the Embassy and TPA, including a Tingatinga Art painting depicting the picturesque scenery of Zanzibar.
