Africa-Press – Tanzania. TANZANIA Posts Corporation (TPC) and Mpoto Theater Gallery Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to create awareness of the roles of the postal services and its contribution to socio-economic development.

Speaking during the signing ceremony in Dar es Salaam recently, the Acting Postmaster General, Macrice Mbodo said they have partnered with a Poet Mrisho Mpoto due to his poetic creativity which will be used to promote the new postal products and services in Tanzania and outside the country.

According to him, TPC continues to undergo transformation to reach many people and improve its services for nation development.

He thanked Mpoto for his support in ensuring that every Tanzanian has access to postal services and understands the Smart Posta Service, a digital platform which aims at transforming postal service operations into digital format.

“We expect to improve our services by using Mpoto through his poetic style and reaching many customers within and outside the country,” he said.

He further encouraged Tanzanians to use TPC services in sending and receiving their parcels.

In his remarks, Mpoto urged Tanzanians to love their domestic products including the services provided by TPC to promote growth of the economy and achieve the country’s goals.

He then assured TPC that he will be a good ambassador on promoting better postal services in the country.

He called upon the public to make use of the TPC One Stop Centers in accessing all the crucial services thereby saving the cost and time of having to travel from one office to another in search of the services.

TPC and Mpoto Theatre Limited collaboration will continue to create digital platforms that intend to transform postal services into digital patterns.
