Africa-Press – Tanzania. PRIME Minister Kassim Majaliwa has left the country for a three-day working visit to Belarus, a visit aimed at strengthening diplomatic relations and enhancing economic opportunities between Tanzania and Belarus.
During his visit, the Prime Minister is expected to hold talks with his host, Belarus’s Prime Minister, Alexander Turchin, where they will discuss cooperation in various sectors, including health, education, agriculture, and industry.
Moreover, the Premier will also have the opportunity to visit Belarus’s major pharmaceutical manufacturing plant, the Republican Unitary Production Enterprise, to observe modern methods of producing health-related products.
Mr Majaliwa will also tour the Minsk Tractor Works JSC factory and the Agrarian State University.
Among his many other activities in Belarus, Mr Majaliwa is expected to participate in bilateral meetings involving government leaders and the Belarusian business association (AFTRADE) where the goal of the meeting is to strengthen economic ties and attract investors from Belarus to invest in Tanzania’s strategic sectors.
