Africa-Press – Tanzania. A Tanzanian Company- SPH Co Limited has signed an agreement with a United Arab Emirate based conglomerate Al Masaood Bergum WLL that will enable the duo work together in prefabricated and modular building projects in the country and extend beyond the borders as necessary.

The Agreement was signed in Abu Dhabi during the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition Conference (ADIPEC) by SPH Company Limited Managing Director Mr Salim Mbarouk Salim and Al-Masaood Group Head of Commercial Mr Hani El Tannir.

The agreement reached has put both companies as strategic partners in project development and execution from designing to the assembly point.

Speaking shortly after the signing ceremony, SPH Managing Director Mr Salim said his company was proud to work together with one of the big companies, which will bring a lot of experience and expertise in the local market.

“As a Tanzanian company we are very excited to work with this great company which will not only bring specialised experience to the country but also help in bringing state of the art technology transfer to the local community,” he said.

Al Masaood Bergum WLL has some 42 years of experience and has conducted major projects in the UAE and around the world.

Mr Salim said that Tanzania offers an appealing operational atmosphere therefore it is important that a Tanzanian company works as a strategic partner in the development of the country.

He further noted that Tanzania is evidently an attractive market and big corporations are willing to work with local companies into the producing quality products, promote capacity building and local content.

SPH is a Tanzanian registered company since 2019 that deals with modular construction solutions as well as prefabricated buildings.

Some of the services offered have been seen in the oil and gas industry, construction and mining.
