Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE Tanzania Football Federation (TFF), in partnership with the National Sports Council (NSC) and Blueberry Travels, have unveiled an organised travel programme for fans wishing to accompany Taifa Stars to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco, scheduled to kick off on December 21.
NSC official, Benson Chacha, said in Dar es Salaam yesterday that the initiative follows a wave of inquiries from supporters seeking a coordinated travel arrangement.
“As the National Sports Council, together with TFF, we have received many letters and calls from fans asking how they can travel collectively for AFCON 2025. We worked on the matter and identified Blueberry Travels as the company that will transport fans to Morocco to cheer for the national team,” Chacha said.
Blueberry Travels Marketing Officer, Kelvin Charles, thanked the NSC and TFF for entrusting them with the task, noting that the company had prepared affordable packages tailored to the financial capacity of most Tanzanians.
The packages include round-trip airfare and local transportation in Morocco.
“For the opening match between Tanzania and Nigeria, a single traveller will pay 2,535 US dollar, while two people travelling together will pay 2,320 US dollars each,” Charles explained.
He added that for the December 27 match against Uganda, the package costs 2,970 US dollars for one person and 2,700 US dollars per person for two travellers. For the December 30 tie against Tunisia, fans will pay 3,000 US dollars individually or 2,780 US dollars per person for pairs.
Charles further announced that fans wishing to attend all group-stage matches can opt for a full-package deal priced at 5,250 US dollars for one traveller or 4,400 US dollars per person for two travellers.
