Africa-Press – Tanzania. VICE President Emmanuel Nchimbi has urged Ambassadors-elect who are going to represent Tanzania in various countries to prioritize the country’s economic, political and diplomatic interests.
Dr Nchimbi said this while speaking to Ambassadors-elect who are going to represent the United Republic of Tanzania in various countries, during talks held at the State House in Dodoma region with the aim of bidding farewell to the ambassadors.
He has urged them to be creative and work hard, including announcing the opportunities available in the country and persuading investors and businessmen to invest in the country.
In addition, he has urged the ambassadors to oversee the president’s vision during this period in which he is building the country’s economy and strengthening international relations.
The Vice President has instructed the Ambassadors to ensure that they oversee the National Development Vision 2050, the Chama Cha Mapinduzi Election Manifesto, as well as various guidelines from the Government.
The Vice President congratulated the Ambassadors for being trusted by the President to represent the country in various countries and urged them to make good use of the trust given to them.
Expressing his gratitude on behalf of the Ambassadors, the Ambassador-designate of Tanzania to Oman, Ambassador Maulidah Hassan thanked the Vice President for the guidance, instructions and advice he provided and promised to work hard.
The Ambassador-designate who arrived to bid farewell before going to their respective stations includes Ambassador Engineer Zena Ahmed Said (Saudi Arabia), Ambassador Cyprian Luhemeja (Zambia), Ambassador Maulidah Hassan (Oman), Ambassador Salim Othman Hamad (Comoros), Ambassador Swahiba Mndeme (Sweden), Ambassador Noel Kaganda (Korea), and Ambassador Musa Haji Ali, Deputy Representative of Tanzania to the United Nations, New York.

This vision aims to transform Tanzania into a middle-income country by 2025, highlighting the need for effective representation and advocacy by its diplomats.
