Africa-Press – Tanzania. YOUNG Africans have confirmed midfielder Yannick Bangala will miss tomorrow’s match against Mbeya Kwanza as he is serving a one-match suspension for accumulating three yellow cards.

The Jangwani Street giants, who arrived in Mbeya yesterday, were treated to a thunderous reception by their supporters and fans who were happy to see their players and are expecting a good fight on Tuesday.

The two sides will meet at Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya in a tricky fixture for the visitors knowing in advance that their opponents have been among the difficult sides to beat in the ongoing NBC Premier League race.

From their six played games, Mbeya Kwanza have just lost once; 2-1 to Tanzania Prisons while posting four draws and one win as such; they seem to have already understood the Premier League formula.

However, in his words recently, Yanga Assistant Coach Cedric Kaze conceded that the Democratic Republic of Congo player will not be part of the three points hunting mission.

“On the day (Tuesday), we will miss one player Bangala who has been suspended for receiving three yellow cards. But, the rest are fine and Dickson Ambundo has recovered from his injury and started normal training programmes,” Kaze said.

He added that after sharing spoils with Namungo in their previous match, they sat down to analyse what went wrong as such; all their focus is to grab three points in Mbeya.

“We are heading to Mbeya with new energy even though sometimes the pitch may not be friendly, but in order to become champions, you need to be ready to play at any venue,” he said.

Kaze added the management and players are aware how crucial the game is to them as such; total workout from the players is greatly assured to the members and fans.

In a related development, Yanga’s Information Officer Hassan Bumbuli has alerted the team’s fans and supporters to stop adhering to what is being said via social media platforms that midfielder Khalid Aucho is leaving the club.

“These words have surfaced purposely to keep us off the track in the ongoing league as such, do not listen to the speculations as they are meant to disorganise us.

“We have two important games against Mbeya Kwanza and our traditional rivals Simba and we need to do well in both games so as to continue racing towards the championship goal,” Bumbuli said.

From six games, Yanga still enjoy the pivotal seat on the log with 16 points and will be eager to get back to winning ways after dropping two points in their previous match.
