AfricaPress-Tanzania: Lulu Ng’wanakilala, the Chief Executive Officer of the Tanzania Foundation for Promotion of Justice in Tanzania (LSF), has called on women in leadership to use these opportunities to help and uplift their fellow women.

Speaking in a telephone interview, Lulu said she views it as an important day for a woman in the world as a leader of an organization that fights for women’s rights.

The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day is ‘Woman in Leadership, Yeast in a Equitable World,’.

Lulu said women in leadership positions should be an example and a catalyst to encourage other women to reach out to those positions and also use them to use the leadership positions they have to participate fully in the development of their communities and the nation as a whole.

“So for me International Women’s Day is important in recognizing women’s equality and rights in general, recognizing women’s role in society, in the family, at all levels, women’s right not to be deprived of their rights, including sexual violence. and women’s rights in decisions, ”said Lulu.

She said for a long time women’s rights have been lacking, so International Women’s Day is also a reminder of the importance of women’s rights, equality and women’s role in society.
