AfricaPress-Tanzania: IN places not reached by bank services, Airtel Tanzania has designed secure and time saving way that would enable parents pay school fees without them necessarily visiting the institutions with cash money.

Making the revelation in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday, Airtel Money Partners Acquisition Manager, Philemon Matoi said parents should pay their school fees through Airtel Money Lipa Ada that is safe, reliable and takes minutes to transact.

According to him the payment way is one of the surest means of doing business and making some official payments, without necessarily forcing a customer to walk with cash money.

“We are working together with the government on promoting financial inclusion in the country and for that matter, expanding our network infrastructures all over the country so that our customers benefit from our mobile money services in areas where the banking services are not available. “It is important to note that Airtel Money been assisting in reducing transaction costs, improving safety for individuals and businesses, and enhancing the efficiency of the economy by reducing people’s trek with money to bank branches.

Speaking at the same event, Kings School Headmaster Anthony Bizulu said: “Lipa Ada na Airtel Money is an easy and quicker service for us to collect school fees and other contribution, without necessarily forcing a parent to go to the bank.
