AfricaPress-Tanzania: Zanzibar President Hussein Mwinyi has sworn-in his newly appointed ministers and warned them that he will not hesitate to fire them if they perform poor.
Speaking shortly after he had sworn-in cabinet ministers at the State House today (November 21, 2020), Dr Mwinyi insisted that ministers who will not be able to address corruption, embezzlement and theft in their respective public offices are not right person in his cabinet.
Stressing on transparency and accountability in his government, Dr Mwinyi advised ministers to cooperate with journalists by sharing important information whenever needed.
