AfricaPress-Tanzania: GWAMBINA assistant tactician Athuman Bilali’Bilo’ said they will intensively train their strikers with various scoring techniques during the period when the Premier League was suspended due to the need for the national teams preparations for international matches.
Speaking during his team training at Gwambina Complex in Misungwi District, Bilal said his team has been playing well in its various games, but they still face the problem in finishing chances they create.
The former Alliance FC, Stand United and Toto African coach, Bilala said he is confident with the squad they have, but the big challenge they face is the proper use of the scoring chances. He commended the efforts shown by his players in every match they have played so far.
Gwambina FC’s attacking lineup is led by Meshack Abraham, Miraji Salehe, Moris Mahela, Jimmy Mwanuke, Paul Nonga and Japhet Makalai.
Gwambina FC have so far netted six goals while the leading striker is Meshack Abraham who has scored four goals.
Yusuph Dunia and Jimmyson Mwanuke have each scored one goal.
Gwambina FC will travel to Dodoma to confront JKT Tanzania at the Jamhuri Stadium and the match will be played on November 20th this year.
In the ongoing Premier League standings, Gwambina FC are placed in 14th place with 10 points. The team has won two, drawn four and lost six matches.
Gwambina FC skipper, Jacob Massawe said they will work hard to make sure their team finishes in a good position by winning at the end of the league.
