AfricaPress-Tanzania: PUGILIST Hassan Mwakinyo’s Assistant Coach, Amos Nkondo has outlined a plan to secure a boxing match for Mwakinyo that will be fought in the country against an international boxer.

He noted that, they would notify the boxing fans once they get an opponent on the date and place where the bout will be host.

“As team Mwakinyo we are well prepared for doing something bigger than what we did before in the National Stadium.”

“We look forward to get another big fight, which will be fought in the country. We expect the fight to involve an opponent boxer out from Tanzania.”

Prior, Mwakinyo had a bout against Jack Culcay who is an Ecuador-born German profes- sional boxer with a total of 3 1 fights, winning 27 bouts with 13 knockouts and lost only four.

Culcay has held the World Boxing Welterweight (WBO) title between 2 015 and 2 017 and ranked seventh in the world.

The fight was suspended due to Corona Virus outbreak on March 2 1st this year. “We mostly do our things in writing means, contract.

Now our contract was up until the day of the boxing fight, that means until now the contract is dead but soon things are good (corona virus case) we hope they bring back the negotiations to see about signing of a new contract.”
