PAMBA’S VPL RETURN MISSION GETS BOOST

AfricaPress-Tanzania: MWANZA based First Division side Pamba have signed a sponsorship deal with Jambo Food products that facilitates the team’s performance in the league.

Speaking to the ‘africa-press’, the club’s chairman Aleem Alibhai said he is grateful to Jambo Food products for their sponsorship of Fuel, 30 training kit,30 pairs of shoes and 60 track suits.

Alibhai said their team is well organised to ensure they perform well in the first division league (FDL) so that they can earn Premier League return.

Jambo Food products’ Managing director, Salum Hamis said they will continue to support Pamba with their sponsorship to provide fuel for all trips wherever the team goes.

Pamba, the former Union Cup champions, have played five friendly matches, they have won four matches and drawn once.

The team won 4-0 against Nyamagana United at Nyamagana Stadium, they beat Mwadui FC 2-1 at Mwadui Complex in Shinyanga region.

Pamba won 3-2 against Kagera Sugar FC at Kaitaba Stadium in Kagera Region and drew 2-2 with Mwanza Combine FC at Nyamagana Stadium.

Pamba are placed Group B and will play their first game against Arusha United at Nyamagana Stadium in Mwanza on October 11.

Then a week later they will confront Singida United at the same venue. On October 24th, they will battle it against Mbao FC at CCM Kirumba stadium.
