Africa-Press – Uganda. The Rotary Club of Kigo Seven Lakes on Friday hosted Rotary District 9214 Governor Christine Kyeyune Kawooya at Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort, marking her first official visit to the club.
Addressing Rotarians, District Governor Kawooya underscored the importance of partnerships in amplifying Rotary’s community impact, noting that collaboration remains central to delivering sustainable service outcomes.
In that context, she highlighted Next Media Group as a key partner in advancing Rotary’s mission. The District Governor commended Next Media, through its President Kin Kariisa, for sustained and strategic support in strengthening Rotary’s brand and public image in Uganda and beyond.
Through its platforms, including NBS TV, AfroMobile and NextCom, Next Media has supported Rotary initiatives by providing coverage and live streaming of major engagements at both national and international levels.
The support has enabled Rotary activities to reach wider audiences and enhanced public awareness of the organisation’s work.
In addition, Next Communications has provided communication services that support Rotary’s outreach and messaging efforts.
DG Kawooya emphasised the role of consistent storytelling in showcasing Rotary’s impact, saying partnerships with media organisations such as Next Media Group have helped highlight service, leadership and community-focused action while connecting Rotary’s mission with audiences across multiple platforms.
Next Media Group continues to leverage its media platforms to promote positive change, with its partnership with Rotary District 9214 demonstrating how purposeful storytelling can extend impact and strengthen community service initiatives.
