Africa-Press – Uganda. The Principal, Muhwezi Moses, has urged graduates at the 76th Graduation Ceremony to treat their academic achievement as a foundation for greater responsibility and opportunity.
Addressing the graduands, Muhwezi congratulated them on reaching what he described as a remarkable milestone — one earned through dedication, perseverance, and discipline. He noted that their success reflects more than academic excellence, pointing instead to the resilience and personal growth developed throughout their years of study.
“This achievement reflects not only academic success, but also the resilience, discipline, and personal growth you have demonstrated along the way,” he said.
While the ceremony was marked by celebration from families, faculty, and well-wishers, the Principal reminded the graduates that the occasion represents a transition into a more demanding phase of life.
“As you step forward into the next chapter of your lives, remember that graduation is not the end — it is the beginning of greater opportunities and responsibilities,” Muhwezi noted.
He encouraged the graduates to apply the knowledge, values, and confidence gained during their academic journey to shape their communities, industries, and the nation.
Highlighting the changing global landscape, Muhwezi emphasized the need for innovation, bold thinking, and principled leadership. He challenged the class to pursue their ambitions courageously and remain steadfast in their purpose.
“The world awaits your ideas, your innovation, and your leadership. Be bold in your ambitions, courageous in your decisions, and steadfast in your purpose,” he urged.
