Africa-Press – Uganda. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has confirmed reports that the embassy of Denmark turned down a Ugandan visa, on account of the type of passport. But the ministry spokesperson, Simon Mundeyi says this is only a single case that originated from the data verification process of the Ugandan new e-passport. Since then, the ministry has written to the International Civil Aviation Organization to resolve the matter and the situation has normalized. Since then, over 7,000 Ugandans have now traveled using the new passport. Of these 96 Ugandans have traveled to Denmark with the new passports.
