Yoweri K Museveni gathered in Palaro(sep 29), Gulu, to remember, in appreciation, the late Brigadier Pierio Okoya and his wife, Mama Anna Okoya, who were murdered on the 25th of January, 1970. The murder of Brig Okoya and his wife stems from two mistakes: emphasizing the wrong ideology (politics of identity) instead of focusing on the people’s needs and the improper work methods, which resulted in many problems like these killings in past governments.
