Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. HARARE, Nov. 6 (NewsDay Live) – A Harare businessman and reveller, Peter Simon Sini, allegedly lost US$5 000 to two suspected hookers whom he had engaged to entertain him.
This emerged when Brenda Muchingwe (27) and Paida Muchinha (24) from Redcliff, Kwekwe, appeared Thursday Nov.6 before Harare magistrate Ruth Moyo facing theft charges.
The duo challenged placement on remand, with a ruling expected Friday Nov. 7.
The State alleged that on October 24, Sini was drinking beer with the pair at Evitro Club in Belgravia, where Muchingwe stole his wallet that contained US$5 000.
It is alleged that Muchingwe then passed on the wallet to Muchinha before disappearing from the scene.
Simi reported the matter to the club bouncers, who searched the suspects, but nothing was recovered.
