Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. Zimdancehall star Seh Calaz, real name Tawanda Mumanyi, is set to drop his much-anticipated album Noah on 16 August 2025.

The launch, organised by Chitomborwizi Events in partnership with Ghetto Chronicles, will be held at the iconic Chitungwiza Aquatic Complex.

Originally slated for release last year, the album was delayed due to health issues that saw Seh Calaz taking time out to recover earlier this year.

Tawanda Pilima from Chitomborwizi Events says fans can expect a night to remember. “This is going to be a memorable event for Zimdancehall music,” he said.

Ghetto Chronicles spokesperson Philemon Jambaya added that the event will be a reminder of why Seh Calaz continues to be a powerhouse in the genre.

Noah follows a strong run of releases earlier this year, including Mambo ndi Mambo and Ndipe Gwenya featuring Kinnah.

The launch line-up includes some of Zimdancehall’s top acts, with performances from Chillspot Family, Dadza D, Madedido, Kinnah, and Hwindi President expected to light up the night.

Seh Calaz has earned a loyal fanbase with his hard-hitting lyrics, signature “Check Check Check” callout, and raw social commentary.

Among his most popular tracks are Mabhanditi and Kwatinobva Kwakasiyana, both now anthems in their own right.
