The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has stated that the Warriors will remain at AFCON 2019 despite a money row which has thrown the participance in doubt
The Warriors and ZIFA had initially failed to reach an agreement making a withdrawal a real possibility.
However ZIFA is adamant that the Warriors will still be at the continental showcase:
ZIFA would like to inform members of the football fraternity that Zimbabwe is not withdrawing from the 2019 Egypt Total Africa Cup of Nations @CAF_Online @HeraldZimbabwe

Zimbabwe are set to play DRC in a must win match.
