Africa-Press – Angola. The PHA (Humanist Party of Angola) wants clarification on technical procedures of the National Electoral Commission (CNE) related to the organization of polling stations. The intention was expressed yesterday in Luanda by the candidate for Vice-President of the Republic.

Victor Lopes, who addressed the matter at a press conference, said that the party is concerned about a possible excess of ballot papers, which, if confirmed, could threaten the electoral process.

For this reason, he continued, the PHA asks the CNE to clarify the situation, in order to avoid negative speculation and “noise in the electoral process.

The candidate for vice-president of the PHA said that his party “recommends” to the CNE the guarantee that each polling station has “appropriate logistics for the production of legible and authentic copies of the summary minutes that are sufficient for all delegates from the eight political formations competing for the elections.

Regarding the tabulation and dissemination of results, Victor Lopes appeals that, in addition to the tabulation to be done manually, he must also contemplate with technological solutions that guarantee greater security and transparency in the electoral process.

The Humanist Party of Angola, if it wins the General Elections, admits the spokeswoman, intends to place the human being as a central value and concern of its governance, justifying that “humanism is the only way to preserve democracy, justice, social peace and common welfare”.

Laurinda Chingongo stated that the party will work towards the creation of a humanist society managed by a legal order capable of freeing and valuing the workforce, allowing the construction of a system of wealth for all.

Last Friday, the spokeswoman said that the PHA plans to deepen democracy, reform institutions, implement transitional and transparent justice, the right to historical memory, as well as promote the dignity of women. , the child and the elderly. In the economic aspect, it is stated “the construction of an economy that is at the service of the human being, and not the human being at the service of the economy”.
