Africa-Press – Angola. President João Lourenço’s visit to the capital, Oslo, Kingdom of Norway, from wednesday until Friday, is fundamentally aimed at strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Téte António advanced to the press in Oslo that the Norwegian economy has a strong intervention of the State and also of the private ones, factors that Angola can absorb even more experiences.

“This visit to Norway is a good opportunity to exchange experiences, as it is known that this country has an economy with a very vibrant private sector, but also with State intervention in key sectors that are very productive”, he said.

On the other hand, explained the head of Angolan diplomacy, Norway is the mother of Sovereign Funds, as it is the country where the “Fund for Future Generations” was born.

It is a fund that serves to ensure that the country never again gets into difficulties and intervenes in more than 80 countries in the world.

As detailed by Minister Téte António, the President of the Republic will hold, in Oslo, official meetings with King Harald, Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store and the President of the Norwegian Parliament.

A visit to reference companies present in the Angolan economy is planned, after the Head of State is a speaker at the Business Forum, scheduled for Thursday.
