Africa-Press – Angola. President João Lourenço swore in Aquiles Gonçalves da Silva Francisco as the new judge counsellor of the Court of Auditors on Thursday in Luanda.
During the brief ceremony, the Head of State appealed to the magistrate to fulfill his duties with commitment, given the importance of the institution for the country.
The President emphasized the role of the Court of Auditors in promoting good governance and overseeing state finances.
President Lourenço wished the judge success, emphasizing the institution’s importance in ensuring the proper management of public finances and guaranteeing administrative legality.
“I would just like to take this opportunity to wish you much commitment in the performance of his duties, given the importance of the Court of Auditors in our country, and to wish him much success,” said the President.
