Africa-Press – Angola. The secretary of UNITA in Huambo, Apolo Yakuvela, reiterated Saturday, the call for social inclusion, through meetings and debates with civil society in general, as a way of enhancing common well-being.

According to the party official, who was speaking to the press, on the sidelines of a meeting with representatives of youth organisations, building and promoting the development of the country and the province of Huambo, in particular, should belong to everyone and for all levels.

Therefore, he referred that UNITA has open doors to work with civil society and together contribute to the well-being of all.

“If you understood when we arrived in Huambo, last December, we said that the first step would be to work with the party cadres and, once this phase was over, the doors to civil society were opened, with a view to greater approximation and interaction”, said the politician.

He explained that the meeting served to exchange views with some academics and civil society representatives on the challenges facing the country and UNITA, within the scope of strengthening social relations.
