Africa-Press – Angola. The MPLA’s first secretary in Bengo, Maria Antónia Nelumba, Monday in Caxito asked party members to help identify the population’s needs and find the best solutions for projects that directly impact their lives.
The governor who was speaking at her party’s New Year greetings act, referred that the MPLA should support the Executive in implementing the government’s programme, which will demand more patriotism, discipline, competence, honesty, dynamism and responsibility.
“The population, especially the youth, is increasingly demanding and there are not always the human and financial resources to keep up with this demand, which requires everyone’s participation”, he pointed out.
The year just ended, he said, was marked by numerous challenges, with emphasis on the electoral process.
Despite the macroeconomic situation and the global crisis, it was possible to overcome obstacles with the support of all militants, he underlined.
The minister highlighted the contribution of her party’s organizations in all processes of struggle and conquests, and advised them to continue with mobilization actions for their growth, as well as empowerment, ideological political, academic and professional technical training.
