Africa-Press – Angola. The ambassador of the People’s Republic of China accredited to Angola, Gong Tao, highlighted, in the village of Lândana, (Cacongo), the fact that the district has great potential that could attract investments from Chinese businessmen in the field of tourism.
Gong Tao, who ended a two-day visit to this northern part of the country on Saturday, said that he will bring a good message to Chinese businessmen so that they can come to Cabinda and assess these points of tourist and economic interest for investment.
“I am enchanted by the history of the village of Lândana/Cacongo and I promise to bring the reality of tourism and culture to other Chinese partners so that they can come and invest in this municipality”, he said.
For his part, the municipal administrator of Cacongo, Armando do Carmo, underlined that the local authorities have devised a strategy that will give more visibility to tourist sites and the village itself, in order to attract both national and foreign investors, taking advantage of the beaches with white sands and other aspects of the Atlantic coast that bathes the municipality.
