Africa-Press – Angola. The mobilization of new militants is at the top of UNITA’s political agenda in Lunda Sul, according to that party’s provincial secretary, Afonso Matuca.
The official made these considerations, Sunday, during the political act that marked the 49th anniversary of the foundation of JURA, UNITA’s youth organization, marked on the 18th of the current month.
On the occasion, Afonso Matuca called for greater commitment by the organization in mobilizing new militants for the party’s ranks, with a view to the municipal elections.
The politician stated that in this way the party will be able to achieve the established objectives, underlining JURA’s mission to recruit and train human resources at party level.
JURA was founded on July 18, 1974, by David Janotão, who was the first president of the youth organization.
