On the occasion, the director general of INAAREES, Jesus Tomé, said that the self-assessment and accreditation process aims to verify the level of quality of the courses taught in Higher Education institutions in the country.

With these evaluative actions, he continued, it is intended to assess, based on benchmarks, criteria and indicators, the level of quality of higher education.

For the director of the office of the rectory of the Technical University of Angola (UTANGA), Wilton Micolo, the process of delivering the evaluation reports is a serious job that, with the help of public institutions, will allow the best aspects such as infrastructure, compliance with some regulations and requirements of the courses taught.

Hermenegildo Pinto, secretary of the self-assessment commission at the Escola Superior Pedagógica do Bié (ESPB), considered the process an asset, as it served as an introspection for the institution itself, where data were collected that serve as a basis for overcoming daily activities.

Accessibility for people with disabilities, evaluation processes, dissemination of results, the database, access to the portal, some of the institution’s equipment, among others, were considered as aspects to be improved at ESPB.

The delivery of the reports is being done in person or digitally.
