Africa-Press – Angola. Aspects of sports leadership, such as planning, governance and good practices, marked Wednesday, in Huambo, the first day of the course for members of the Provincial Tennis Association and other players in the sector.
In this start of the training action, in the amphitheater of the Kapango school, the COA lecturer, Genivaldo Dias, touched on the norms and procedures that allow good management of sports practice and competitive successes.
Earlier, the president of the local Tennis Association, Lino Costa, made an incursion on the history of the sport in general.
With the participation of 20 elements, the seminar, organized by the association, has the support of the Federation (FAT).
For today, Thursday, themes such as “general planning, voluntarism, infrastructures, among others” are reserved.
The province of Huambo, which was once the second power of Angolan tennis, was inactive for more than two decades, as a result of the armed conflict.
