Africa-Press – Angola. The president of the Community Youth Movement of Angola (MOVIJOVEM), David Juízo, considered Friday, in this city, that the organization is aligned with the challenges of the Executive, aimed at changing the behavior of communities and youth in particular.
He expressed the Movement’s willingness to contribute to the country’s development, mobilizing youth for all social tasks, although more employment, training and other opportunities are needed to encourage young people to support the interests of governance.
The official made these pronouncements on the sidelines of the act of constitution and election of the members of the board of directors of the Provincial Secretariat of Malanje of MOVIJOVEM, having highlighted the readiness of the affiliates for the construction of a prosperous Angola, in accordance with the actions and aspirations of the Executive.
David Juízo also appealed to the youth to express their support for the Executive, to respect the national symbols and the sovereign bodies, avoiding only criticism, as the country’s development lacks the participation of the youth.
However, he highlighted the need for this social fringe to abdicate acts of vandalism, riots and other evils that have been registering a little across the country, in some cases with unconfessed purposes.
On the other hand, he urged the deputies of the National Assembly, in order to mediate and take the related instances, the concerns and provisions of the Community Youth Movement of Angola, with a view to finding solutions to the problems of youth and openings for interaction with the government. angolan.
In turn, the director of the Provincial Office for Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports, Veloso Dala said that youth associations in Malanje have been growing considerably, due to the openness given to the exercise of citizenship and participation of young people. in solving the problems.
He explained that the Angolan State recognizes as government partner Associations those that are guided by socially accepted conduct and that do not violate the constitutionally safeguarded fundamental principles, having called for an association based on volunteering and a sense of patriotism, so that there is commitment and participation of the youth in solving social problems.
Meanwhile, MOVIJOVEM’s elected secretary in the province, Marcos Major, expressed his commitment to working with youth with a view to making Malanje take a path towards development, with the support of youth organizations, including political parties.
To this end, he said that it was initially necessary for MOVIJOVEM to assert itself as a youth institution, and for that, its affiliates should collaborate with each other, so that the association fulfills the objectives for which it was created and with its action plans.
The newly elected board comprises a provincial secretary, deputy executive secretary and secretaries for exchange, communication and marketing and social activities.
MOVIJOVEM is a philanthropic institution created with the aim of promoting youth mobility, actively contributing to the enhancement and development of the country, in line with the National Program for Territorial Cohesion.
