Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial secretary of UNITA in Cuando Cubango, Joaquim Savindo, this Sunday in Menongue urged public managers in the region to be more rigorous and transparent in managing the treasury, to promote the well-being of the population.
Speaking at the mass political event in the village of Ndumbu, 45 kilometers north of the capital city of Cuando Cubango, the politician said that only with a transparent and responsible management of public affairs will managers and municipal administrations gradually solve the problems that afflict the population in the communities.
Joaquim Savindo also appealed to the Executive for more investments in the agricultural sector in a sustainable way, so that food products cease to depend on oil prices, as their fluctuations affect imports of essential products and the life of the population.
He said that the values of the General State Budget for the financial year 2023 that will reflect on the well-being of the population in various domains, such as the construction of infrastructures for the sectors of education, health, energy and water and others that promote good image of the province of Cuando Cubango.
The politician also said that the government of the province of Cuando Cubango should promote actions aimed at promoting youth employability in various areas, so that this fringe of society can contribute to the development of the province.
