Africa-Press – Angola. The authorities of the municipality of Caála, Huambo province, plan to make the most of the 4th Fair of Municipalities and Cities of Angola (FMCA2023) to strengthen business partnerships and show their agricultural, livestock and technological potential.
The administrator of the municipality of Caála, Ruben Isaías Etome, said that the local authorities will take advantage of the event to attract investors, both national and foreign, with a focus on promoting socio-economic development.
He said that the municipality of Caála, known as the “Queen of the Minho of Angola” will show its agricultural, technological, industrial, mining and tourist capabilities, with a view to attracting the greatest possible number of investors.
With a strong agricultural potential, the municipality of Caála, one of the 11 that make up the province of Huambo, participated in the last three editions of the Feira dos Municípios e Cidades de Angola.
The IV edition of the FMCA provides a gross space of five thousand square meters, with exhibitions from the 164 municipalities of the country’s 18 provinces, as well as ministerial departments, public and private companies, civil society, investors and national producers.
The previous edition, held in 2018, at the Ombaka Stadium, in Benguela, brought together 250 companies from the country’s 164 municipalities and representatives of six ministerial departments.
