Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, left Luanda, this Wednesday, for the city of Lubango, Huíla province, for a two-day working visit.
At the Luanda Military Air Base, João Lourenço, accompanied by the First Lady of the Republic, Ana Dias Lourenço, bid farewell to members of the Executive.
According to the visit programme, in Lubango João Lourenço leads a meeting with the Government of the province of Huíla later wednesday and, on Thursday, he will open the Municipalities and Cities of Angola Fair (FMCA).
The sample, of a socio-economic nature, will bring together exhibitors from 164 municipal administrations, 18 provincial governments, ministries and public institutes.
President João Lourenço’s trip to Huíla province is the first stage of a journey that will culminate in the neighboring province of Cunene.
