Africa-Press – Angola. The General Inspectorate of State Administration (IGAE) will act more incisively and contribute so that other structures can better perform their role, according to the General Inspector of the State, Ângelo Tavares.

Speaking to the press this Wednesday, in Luanda, at the end of an audience with the president of the National Assembly (AN), Carolina Cerqueira, he referred that the intention is to improve inspection and inspection services in the country.

The bet, he said, is to take IGAE’s services to the municipalities, a project to be started in Luanda.

About the activities carried out by the IGAE, without specifying, he just said that some shortcomings were found in the State institutions.

As a result, he stressed that the next step will be to correct these shortcomings, admitting that some errors are made due to lack of knowledge and others due to lack of adequate personnel.

For that reason, he pointed to the need to create regulations in the sense of a better performance of the activities of the IGAE, as well as the increase of the culture of denouncement by the users of the public services on the action of the entities of the State.

“We should all be IGAE inspectors”, he reiterated.

Ângelo Tavares considered important the existence of a better harmony between the General Administration of the State and the National Assembly, to try to find mechanisms, aiming at the success of the inspection activity in the country.

With this, he added, violations of norms will be avoided, as well as provisions created that allow the different organs of the State to improve performance.
