Africa-Press – Angola. With a goal from Cachi, in the 90th minute, Sagrada Esperaça from Lunda Norte beat Académica do Lobito, by 1 – 0, in the last game of group B of the II edition of the Friendship Tournament.
The victory catapulted the diamantiferos to first place in the group, with seven points.
The two teams entered with great caution, as a draw qualified them for the semi-finals, and the null on the scoreboard prevailed until the break.
In the second half, Sagrada Esperança and Académica opted to rotate their squads, but it was the Diamantiferos who reached the opposing goal more often with danger.
When it looked like a null result would prevail, Sagrada reached the goal in the 90th minute, through Cachi.
Speaking at the end of the game, Sagrada Esperança coach Roque Sapiri said it was a good game, in which his team knew how to suffer and remain serene, as the opponent did everything to win.
” It was fundamental that we didn’t retreat the lines and at the right moment sentence the game”, he referred.
In turn, the coach of Académica do Lobito, Agostinho Tramagal, considered that Sagrada was a fair winner, due to the quality of his team and due to the preparation time that it already takes.
” We were facing a competent opponent and the best teams in Girabola, but we want to reach the end of this competition because we need more games”, he concluded.
With this result, Sagrada is in the first position of group B, with seven points, and Académica in second, with six. 1o de Agosto and Recreativo do Libolo are out of the competition.
