Africa-Press – Angola. More than 40,000 people visited the Angolan Municipalities and Cities Fair (FMCA), which ended this Sunday, in Lubango, Huíla province, against 29,000 in the previous edition held in Benguela, according to the organisation.

According to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eventos Arena, Bruno Albernaz, it is a record, as this number has been reached for the first time in four editions.

He considered that holding the FMCA outside Luanda also represents a stimulus from the Executive to the economy, values the municipality that hosts it and is a path that must be continued to be followed in view of the urgent need to reduce local asymmetries and promote balanced development and harmonious part of the national territory.

For the entrepreneur, to whom the Ministry of Territory Administration entrusted the organization of the event, during the fair the interaction between the municipalities and those who visited them was noted, in addition to the variety of goods produced and which many people were unaware of.

The fair, according to the organizer, also became a family space where many households converged, to seek answers to the economic potential of each municipality, which is healthy, judging by the behavior of each citizen present.

The realization of the IV edition of FMCA, promoted by the Ministry of Territory Administration, in Huíla, brought together more than 500 exhibitors, among them, 164 municipal administrations, 18 provincial governments, ministerial departments, public and private companies.
