Africa-Press – Angola. Thirty-two managers of companies and agricultural producers from Cunene participated this Thursday, in Ondjiva, in training on fiscal citizenship, aiming at paying taxes.
During the one-day training course, participants learned about, among other matters, the fiscal calendar and the importance of paying taxes.
The General Tax Administration (AGT) technician, Isabel Arnaldo, said that the training aimed to elucidate company managers and agricultural producers about the advantages of paying taxes.
He informed that, due to lack of knowledge, some economic agents feel surprised and harmed, when the subject is a contribution to the AGT.
To reverse this situation, he said, “this small refreshment was programmed in order to awaken duty and responsibility with tax obligations”.
The training was promoted by the National Institute of Support for Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Companies (INAPEM), in partnership with the General Tax Administration.
INAPEM, supervised by the Ministry of Economy and Planning, is the body in charge of monitoring, certifying and classifying companies, as well as providing business training and qualification services, as well as technical assistance and consultancy to Micro, Small and Medium-sized Companies.
INAPEM in Cunene province has already registered 935 certified and controlled companies.
