The Minister of Social Action, Family and Women’s Promotion (Masfamu), Ana Paula do Sacramento Neto, this Sunday, in Muxima village, Quiçama municipality, exhorted parents and guardians to pay more attention to their children and keep them in homes, aiming at their safety and protection.
Speaking to the press, the official made it known that it has been with great concern that she has received sad information about raped and assaulted children.
For this reason, he said, the Executive has been working so that adults have children in their homes, so that they feel safe, confident and see parents and guardians as true protectors.
On the occasion, he called for vigilance, with a view to preventing possible aggression or abuse of minors.
“We must look at the child as the future guardian of the country”, he wished.
On his turn, the provincial governor of Luanda, Manuel Homem, made it known that the protection of children should deserve special attention from the State, because the future of any nation depends on what is done with children today.
“We are committed to continuing to be close to these initiatives, so that peace continues to reign in Angola, love between brothers and, above all, so that the country can develop based on the faith and dedication of each one, as a Christian”, he said.
Manuel Homem recalled that when the requalification of Muxima is finished, which has already begun, there will in fact be more organized and effective religious tourism and a more welcoming town, more willing to receive its faithful pilgrims and tourists.
