The provincial government of Malanje considered the Sovereign of the Kingdom of Ndongo, Buba Nvula Dala-Mana (King Cabombo), who died on the 8th of this month, in the municipality of Marimba, due to illness at the age of 101, a staunch defender of the maintenance of education and a culture of dialogue among young people.
According to a note during his reign, the defeated man made several trips to meet political power at the highest level in the search for solutions to improve the socio-economic conditions of the region, as well as interacting with other reigns in the search for closer ties between peoples and cultures.
King Cabombo made the reign more open and united by simplifying some traditional rituals for the domain of all citizens, reads the document signed by the provincial governor, Marcos Nhunga.
The MPLA Provincial Committee highlights the Sovereign of the Kingdom of Ndongo, which includes the provinces of Malanje, Cuanza Norte, Bengo and Luanda, as a strong protector of the preservation of the habits and customs that identify the Angolan people.
Buba Nvula Dalamana was the 44th King of Ndongo, born on January 1, 1922, in the municipality of Massango, where he left to assume the throne of Ndongo with the title of King Ngola Kiluanje Kya Samba in 1993, having taken up residence in the sector of Cabombo, Corte Real dos Ngolas, then commune of Dala Samba, municipality of Marimba.
During his reign, he guided and appointed, with the support of the “Royal Court”, the guardians who take care of the tombs of the ancestors Ngola Kiluanje and Queen Nginga Mbande, buried in the village of Muculo-a-Ngola, in the municipality of Marimba (210 kilometers away). North of the city of Malanje).
His funeral takes place at midnight on Saturday (16), in the Cabombo neighborhood, municipality of Massango.
The King leaves behind seven wives, 45 children, 150 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
