Africa-Press – Angola. The Chamber of Official Dispatchers of Angola (CDOA) participates, from the 12th to the 15th of September, in the Public Forum of the World Trade Organization (WTO) 2023, which takes place in Geneva, Switzerland, under the slogan “It’s Time to Act”.
In a press release sent the CDOA says it is an event of great importance, which will serve to analyze how trade can facilitate access to essential goods, services and environmental technologies.
The document states that the Chamber will be represented by the president of the Organization, José Manuel Pacheco, who considers it to be a fundamental forum to represent the interests of Angola’s Official Dispatchers and contribute with valuable “insights” related to sustainable commercial practices.
The World Trade Organization (WTO) Public Forum 2023 seeks to assess trade, its significant contribution to the fulfillment of the Nationally Determined Contributions established in the Paris Agreement, while maintaining the commitment to contain global warming within limits of 1.5 degrees above pre-industrial levels.
The Chamber of Official Dispatchers of Angola is a legal person governed by public law and an officially recognized body, as the legal representative of all Official Dispatchers, which is responsible for representing them in all acts related to their activity.
CDOA was officially institutionalized on April 7, 1997, and currently has more than 150 dispatchers.
