Africa-Press – Angola. The national junior women’s handball team qualified, this Tuesday, for the semi-final of the African Championship, taking place in Monastir (Tunisia).

In the fourth and final round of the group stage, the Angolan title holders beat Guinea 31-22, guaranteeing passage to the semi-finals, scheduled for Wednesday (13).

The Angolan seven experienced difficulties compared to previous duels, leaving at half-time with a minimum advantage of two goals (12-10).

Throughout the continental event, Angola beat Kenya in its debut (54-9), a new triumph over the DRC (42-9) and last Sunday it defeated Côte d ́Ivoire (43-19).

Angola has ten titles, followed by Nigeria and Côte d`Ivoire, with three each.
