Africa-Press – Angola. The secretary of JURA in the province of Huambo, Arlindo Mangango, recognized, on Saturday, the performance and professionalism of the Angola Press Agency in disseminating, in an impartial manner, political, social and economic activities.
The head of UNITA’s youth arm made this recognition during the closing of the organization’s ordinary meeting, held since Friday, in the municipal town of Ucuma, 97 kilometers west of the city of Huambo.
Arlindo Mangango encouraged the collective of ANGOP workers to continue with their professional performance of covering the main events in the country, taking into account their role in consolidating the democratic and lawful State.
“Democratic states only grow if there is a plurality of information, hence JURA’s recognition of ANGOP’s professional performance”, he concluded.
On the other hand, the secretary of JURA for the province of Huambo, Arlindo Mangango, said that UNITA reaffirms its commitment the promotion of peace, national unity and the consolidation of democracy.
“We will continue to work on raising awareness so that by 2027, we will have enlightened youth who vote en masse and control these votes”, he explained.
The event debated, among others, the social, political and economic situation of the province of Huambo.
