Africa-Press – Angola. More than two thousand National Police personnel are mobilized to guarantee public order and tranquility during the first edition of the Cuanza Sul National Music Festival (Festi-Cuanza Sul), to be held from the 22nd to the 23rd of this month.
The information was provided to the press this Monday by the corporation’s spokesperson, Mateus Guilherme Balato, stating that the staff will work on national roads 100, 120, 240 and 245, on the streets of the city and on Marginal do Sumbe (event location), as well as along the sea coast.
“This event will bring together citizens from the 12 municipalities of Cuanza Sul, other provinces of the country and the diaspora in Sumbe, which is why the bodies of the Ministry of the Interior in charge of public security are designing a plan to ensure that these activities take place in a climate of peace and of tranquility”, he highlighted.
