Africa-Press – Angola. The commander of the Cabinda Military Region (RMC), lieutenant general Tukikebi Tussen dos Santos “Chinese”, urged, in the region, the personnel of the various units to dedicate themselves with determination and mission spirit to the actions that aim to guarantee the security and political-military stability.

The FAA general officer was speaking at the closing ceremony of the intensive training course on counter-guerrilla actions and jungle operations, which was attended by 40 personnel from the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) and the Border Guard Police.

On the occasion, he also highlighted that with the practical application of the knowledge absorbed “they are firm and determined in the fight against the enemies of peace, unity and national reconciliation”.

The course, which ran from July 14th to September 20th of the current year, had the objectives of providing participants with adequate knowledge in the areas of “planning and counter-guerrilla operations”, “non-conventional operations”, “guidance in the charter” , “survival on the ground”, “identifying the risks and threats of the guerrillas”.

During the event, messages of welcome and presentation of the law on jungle operations were read, certificates were handed out to participants and the most outstanding.

The training action, which took place in the conference room at the RMC Command, was aimed at commanders of large and small units, platoons, companies and battalions, at the level of the Cabinda Military Region.
