Africa-Press – Angola. The first secretary of the MPLA in Huambo, Lotti Nolika, appealed Friday, to the Executive Committees to improve working methods, for the growth of the party and to face the challenges of the present and the future.
The supporter, who spoke at the consultation meeting with the secretariats of the Executive Committees of the communal committees, towns and cities in the province of Huambo, stated that the growth of the party involves, in addition to the growth of the organization, the search for solutions to the problems of the population .
For this reason, he said, this meeting was promoted with the aim of reflecting on current and future challenges, based on the motto “Work more and communicate better”, through improving working methods at all levels.
He added that it was also an exercise in exchanging experiences, taking into account the training of MPLA structures, in order to provide them with the necessary vitality to keep the party’s “flame” burning.
Lotti Nolika said it is important that members of the Executive Committees continue to listen, feel and live more closely the weight of the responsibilities assigned, within the scope of the party’s statutes.
He praised the commitment and dedication of the party’s first secretaries and leadership in the arduous task of informing and presenting the concerns of the population in the communities.
In turn, the first secretary of the MPLA in Cachiungo, Paulo Moma Kundomboca, valued the party’s initiative in permanently promoting meetings of this kind with intermediate instructors, fulfilling, in this perspective, the association’s political agenda.
The event was attended by members of the Executive Committees of 26 organic communes, 11 non-organic communes, 11 villages and one city.
This is the second time that the municipality has hosted a consultation meeting of this kind, the first taking place in the commune of Chinhama, in 2022.
The municipality of Cachiungo, one of the 11 that make up the province of Huambo, occupies an area of 2497 square kilometers, inhabited by an estimated population of 163 thousand 492 inhabitants, of which 50 thousand 330 are of working age.
