Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial secretary of the MPLA in Lunda Norte, Deolinda Satula Vilarinho, reiterated this Saturday that the country’s current socioeconomic and political challenges require the party, as a Government, to be proactive, creative and resilient, with a view to materializing the programs designed to this five-year period (2022-2027).

The person in charge made this statement during the opening of the Extraordinary Assembly to review and renew the OMA’s mandates, adding that it is necessary to improve the methods of action in all areas, where each person must exclusively take care of the functions they perform. be called upon to perform, which will allow for greater dedication, in an increasingly competitive political scenario.

He said that the MPLA and its social organizations must always assume themselves as an important part in the pursuit of the Nation’s highest interests.

“We are in a phase of redefining strategies to strengthen the Party, so as not to give time and space to the maneuvers of our political opponents”, he stressed.

On the other hand, he called on the OMA to reinforce actions to mobilize and/or recruit more women, especially young people, into the organization’s ranks, aiming at the growth and strengthening of the party.

According to Deolinda Vilarinho, “OMA is and has always been the guarantor of the MPLA’s victories in all elections, because it attracts the most militants, friends and supporters to the party”.
