Africa-Press – Angola. The mortal remains of the director of Migration and Foreign Services (SME) in the province of Cunene, migration commissioner Ribeiro Ferraz, were buried, this Monday, in the Benfica cemetery, Luanda, in the presence of family, colleagues and friends.
Ribeiro Ferraz, 58 years old, died last Wednesday (25), in Ekuma hospital, Cunene province, victim of illness.
The migration commissioner joined the ranks of the Ministry of the Interior on June 10, 1986 and held, among other functions, that of Inspector General of the SME.
Born in the province of Uíge, he was appointed to the position of provincial director on July 24, 2022.
In the funeral eulogy of the Interior delegation in Cunene, he states that the death of the former director constituted an irreparable loss for the bereaved family, as well as leaving a great void within the MININT delegation, where he served with zeal, panache, decorum , professionalism, patience and selflessness the most noble and difficult missions entrusted to him.
Ribeiro Ferraz, adds the note, in addition to military actions, he was a man of letters, standing out as a patriotic citizen who, from an early age, understood the immense need to lend his knowledge for the benefit of the nation.
The commissioner was notable for the range of training he held and which led to indications and appointments for numerous command, management and leadership positions.
Among his titles are Computer Engineering, from the Independent University of Angola, International Relations (Óscar Ribas University), Foreign Language (Instituto Superior de Ciências de Educação – Huila) and professor of the French language.
The unsuccessful man leaves a widow and children.
