“Educational Guidance for Families of Children with Cerebral Palsy” is the theme of the book, launched yesterday in the city of Luanda by Arnaldina Rebeca Sateleia Moisés, a neurologist and specialist in Special Education.
The book, published by Mayamba Editora, is of an academic and social nature, has 447 pages and brings topics of great interest to families who have children with cerebral palsy.
According to the author of the published work, the rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy depends, to a large extent, on the parents, as they are the main stimulating agents and protagonists in the development of these minors.
Arnaldina Moisés stressed that most parents who take care of children with this problem are not specialists and, therefore, need to be guided, strengthened and trained with resources that ensure the integral development of their children and facilitate their social inclusion.
PhD in Psychological Sciences and Master in Clinical Psychology, the author is also a neuro-psychologist. The university professor has participated in several national and international academic events in African and South American countries.
