Africa-Press – Angola. Public institutions in Ndalatando, headquarters of the Cuanza Norte province, registered, this Tuesday, a regular presence of employees on the first day of work, after the celebration of Christmas (25 December).
In a tour carried out, it was possible to notice several employees and administrative agents in institutions such as the Municipal Administration of Cazengo and the Provincial Office for Integrated Economic Development.
The director of the Human Resources Office of the Cazengo Municipal Administration, Francisco Maquembele, said that there was a positive influx of employees and users of the institution on this first day of work.
He added that one or another employee will have been absent from work for various reasons, but that they will be sanctioned with aggravated absences, regardless of the reasons.
At the Integrated Economic Development Office, the turnout was also positive, according to employee Santa Domingos.
“Although some colleagues were absent for reasons we do not know, the majority of employees are here to comply with the guidelines,” he said.
The influx of employees to work stations was also notable at the Civil Registry Office, the Civil Identification Department, as well as the Cazengo District Court.
Unlike those institutions, at the headquarters of the Government of the Province of Cuanza Norte, employee participation was far below the normal average, with the absence of many employees, especially in the secretariat area, and directors.
Despite this, offices such as Human Resources, Public Procurement and Heritage registered a good influx of employees.
The head of the Provincial Government’s Heritage and Logistics area, Narciso Nhanga Cafuma, stated that the employees attended, despite having noticed the absence of some colleagues.
